Losing my mother. My father left when I was two so she was really all I had. She took us away from our other family when I was in 2nd grade. We moved a lot. She didn't die till I was 30. What about you?

Trilogy of Terror with Karen Black. The segment with the Zuni Doll scared the living crap out of me. I watched the Exorcist, nothing, but this movie did it for me for some reason. For months I was so afraid that doll was under my bed.

lavender Oh, oops, other than that movie, the fear that our home would burn down often kept me awak at night. There were a few homes in the area that caught on fire, and I never learned the cause of those fires, so I feared them.
