Yes. I have been in an earthquake event and it was an overseas holiday in Japan. The earthquake was very severe, it damaged and nearly destroyed everything that was in the hotel that I was living in. I heard many horrifying screams outside the hotel that I was living in. IT was a devastation that has stuck in my mind for a quite a while because it just happened 2 weeks ago. And my family members nearly died! Luckily, everyone managed to stay alive and prevent any 'harmful' or 'profound' injuries

The closest I came was we felt a small shake here in Tennessee http://nashvilleistalking.com/node/34490 the link provided tells all about it. By the time it got here it was not much at all but was indeed felt.

Yes, many times. I'm an Alaskan and it is a common happening.. I've been through several earthquakes, 2 volcanic eruptions with ash mass, right now it's -15F and I love every moment :-). Nature rocks (literally)! Earthquakes can be scary but if you are aware of what's happenin you can stay calm enough to do the best ya can which will save your butt in the long run..

Yes and got shaken pretty well in Vacouver Canada. Not a lot of damage but one stomach feel wheird when the palnet burps.

Nope, the closest I've been to an earthquake was blasting from the mines a few miles away, 12 o'clock, every day.
