No, marijuana can cloud your senses and judgment. Anxiety and paranoia are common complaints among marijuana consumers. And although there's no specific reference to smoking weed in the Bible, Christians must have "self-control," which is taught, learned, acquired and practiced. 2 Timothy 1:7 "for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

There are medicinal uses for the plant now besides getting stoned. Gen. 1: 29 says; And God said: Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed upon the earth, and all trees that have in themselves seed of their own kind, to be your meat: This could also intend medicines.
