ANSWERS: 10
  • Same ip address is probably why. Its their site why would they care about you? Like the rest of the world take a cup of concrete and harden up. No one cares, no trolls or time-wasters, you have plenty of time to waste you are posting on answerbag . You dont have anything better to do obviously
    • Urban Spaceman
Of course they have the same IP address when they are using the Internet café of which I happen to be the manager. Many of the people I refer to are real-life friends who had trouble on the old Answerbag because of this, despite the old site's admin being told not to go by IP addresses. This is why I post questions like this on here. Some people, including myself, DO care.
    • ★Stevo
do Internet café's still exist why wouldn't you use your phones internet connection it would be more private. how does a mod of some website know who is who if they on the same ip ban them is the policey of a lot of games.
    • Urban Spaceman
Of course Internet cafés still exist, and without an apostrophe. A lot of people use my premises so that their own private IP addresses don't become known to people they don't trust, mainly site admin who go by IP addresses when they were told not to. Also, some people like to access, shall we say, "private" websites without their partners knowing, so they use my premises for that as well. Even when the admin can see what computer is being used, they cannot see who is using it at any given time. Why do I get the impression that you don't care about other people?
    • ★Stevo
vpn? if you want privacy? Do you live in a 3rd world country? Internet cafes are long dead here. Every game Ive had anything to do with same IP ban them they are cheating.
    • ★Stevo
As you are a grammer natzi you have probably pissed admin off so they wont help you eirther? The script probably bans same Ip by default. What do the terms and conditions of the site say about same IP? Did you read them?
    • Urban Spaceman
If the site bans the same IP by default, how are different people supposed to access the site from my premises? There is nothing in the terms and conditions about that.
    • ★Stevo
if its a game players on the same Ip usually cheat hence the ban. You never said what the site is ?
    • Urban Spaceman
More than one site do it, but I'm not going to share information with you until your attitude has improved.
    • ★Stevo
A butt hurt mod on the game that doesn't like one of the players on your ip so bans all his mates
    • Urban Spaceman
What does getting one's bottom hurt have to do with it? If you're talking about corporal punishment, I am opposed to that.
    • ★Stevo
Game logic certain players from my clan keep your clan in hospital while they are on line, Your a mod and have the power to suspend or ban players, that have done things against the rules. What you going to do?
    • Urban Spaceman
"Your a mod" is nonsensical. How can the word "your" be followed by "a"? Your what is a mod?
    • ★Stevo
The Grammar nazi at it again a true pathetic if there ever was. This is why they are picking on you and your crew. You antagonise the situation
  • I know the feeling of being falsely accused of having many accounts and it would make sense for the one person to have one account and no more for a particular website. In relation to your situation, go on to the Google search bar and type in “how to report a website” and see what link in the results works best for you. Usually when reporting a website, there should be an option for the reason of the report that you can give details on.
    • Urban Spaceman
Most of the people I refer to DID have only one account each, so why were they accused of being the same person with different identities when I know them all in real life?
  • 6/29/2024, no trolls or time wasters? Actually, you are in no position to be asking what type of people do you want answering your questions. You only have 15 questions asked. So obviously you are not contributing to this site as the popular users are, but rather making an outcry because certain users are not answering your very little amount of questions as you would like them to. Take note: websites are filled with many fake accounts. You don't have any links in your reference to support who or what may be accusing you of someone else. Worry about yourself than other people falsely accusing others. You are rather trolling on this site. Don't agree with me? You are always free to comment on my answer. If not, you are also free to leave this site.
    • Urban Spaceman
No, I do not agree with you and I think you are far closer to a troll than I will ever be. Just because a website has many fake accounts, that doesn't mean my friends are fake accounts, and if you think it does I would like a logical explanation why you think so.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
10/28/2024, sayyys you who is trolling on this site? I answered this question back in June of this year, and you're still kicking up dust? You do not have any evidence to support your claims. Maybe if you can add at least some names of the users that have falsely accused you, then I could help solve your problem.
    • Urban Spaceman
You are twisting things. I was not the one being falsely accused, and anyway I wasn't talking about Answerbag, I was talking about Similar Worlds, and also Answermug.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
I'm not twisting anything. If you are not being accused, then there is no point in asking the question, unless you are trying to change the internet culture, which is filled with deception and accusations.
    • Urban Spaceman
I am trying to defend friends who have been accused. Can't you see that? Jeez!
    • Urban Spaceman
I am not trying to change Internet culture, I am just trying to distinguish between right and wrong. Can't you see that? Just because a select few freaks out there decide to use deception and accusation, it doesn't mean normal people such as myself should accept it. I live in a community where such behaviour is seriously frowned on and the absolute truth is most welcome. Do you think there is anything wrong with that?
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
What friends are you referring to? I am certain they have names. If they are Answerbag users, it is more than likely I know who they are. So do spit it out. Right and wrong? You do not know how the internet works. The internet was never intended to be user-friendly. Online deception is the intentional manipulation of information to create a false belief in the recipient. Quote: "normal people such as myself should accept it." You say you are normal, yet your Answerbag username is 'Urban Spaceman'? Have you been to space??? 676 people have traveled to space according to the Space Foundation. If you haven't done space traveling, then you are delusional, and just making things up.
    • Urban Spaceman
I am beginning to think you really are a troll. Urban Spaceman was a song by the Bonzo Dog (Doo-Dah) Band, and since it was a top 5 hit I thought people still knew it, especially considering it was produced by Paul McCartney. I am not sure if it's a good idea to name names on a comment thread because some of them have accounts on here. I'll let you know in a private message when they finally get around to installing that particular feature on here.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Not exactly, I have far too many questions asked and answers given in this site, which are far more than you will ever have to call myself a troll. Oh, I can respect Paul McCartney, but not an Answerbag user who calls himself Urban Spaceman. That sounds dorky. LOL
    • Urban Spaceman
How dare you call the Bonzo Dog Band "dorks". Now I know for sure that you are a troll and I don't wish to interact with you any more. Goodbye, Jenny.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Anyone who is a fanatic of science fiction is plain silly.
    • Urban Spaceman
Who mentioned science fiction? You brought that into it.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
That's right, I brought it up, being you have never been to space. Try to come up with your username, instead of using names from songs.
    • Urban Spaceman
You are just jealous because I've got all the Bonzo Dog Band's records and you haven't got any. I've seen it all before on the older version of Answerbag.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Jealous of your Bonzo or more like Bozo music? By no means. As for the old Answerbag, you are dreaming. It's out with the old and in with the new.
    • Urban Spaceman
That comment proves for once and for all, you are the biggest troll on this site. The biggest troll on the old Answerbag was Wellduh, and she is not here any more. You have taken her place.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
You have no idea what a troll is. Disagreeing with you does not make me a troll.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
BTW, you still haven't proven who has accused your friends as you said: "I am trying to defend friends who have been accused."
  • 10/29/2024, I have not seen any trolls since Linda Joyful was active last month in September. LOL 😂
    • Urban Spaceman
We all know about that particular troll, but I was talking about other sites, not this one.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
I don't see any other sites mentioned besides answerMug. And it's funny how that site doesn't capitalize the "A."
    • Urban Spaceman
Funny? Weird, more like. Mind you, the person who runs that site is a weirdo.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Funny can mean a coincidence in the context used. "answer," followed by "Mug" has a sense that trolls there are ready to Mug users.
    • Urban Spaceman
There is no such thing as coincidence, a fact I have known for more than 60 years. Here are the dictionary-based facts to prove it. The word "coincidence" is an abstract noun derived from the prefixed verb "to coincide". The prefix "co" means "together" (as in "co-operate" = operate together, "coexist" = exist together, etc). This means that "to coincide" must mean "to incide together" based on that particular logic, and that's why the word "coincidence" is rootless, meaningless gibberish. You see, there is no such verb as "to incide", it is not found in any valid English dictionary and therefore its derivatives are invalid words.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
I don't know in what world you are living in, now that your username sounds more like you're smoking something. There is no such this as coincidence? Sure there is: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english-thesaurus/coincidence Coincidences in this world called Earth happen by chance. They can be events seemingly related, but have no obvious connection. BTW, Delaware is about the same size as your tiny UK country. ;) So who are you to be correcting US English words, especially on Answerbag - an American site? You brought this on yourself.
    • Urban Spaceman
Let's take a look at the FACTS, as can easily be found in the Oxford English Dictionary. "Coincidence" is an abstract noun derived from the prefixed verb "to coincide". FACT. The prefix "co" means "together" (as in "coexist" = "exist together", "co-operate" = "operate together", etc). FACT. When we remove the prefix from "coincide" we are left with the nonexistent verb "to incide". Yes, that's right. There is no such word as "incide", it is not in the dictionary. FACT. And because there is no such word as "incide", its derivative words (like "coincide" and "coincidence") are rootless, meaningless gibberish. FACTS, FACTS, FACTS, FACTS, FACTS. If you want to describe things that happen by chance, please use another word, one that conforms to the standard English format. Don't call it a "coincidence" or any other word that is obviously derived from a nonexistent word, otherwise you cannot expect people to take you seriously.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Get your English straight. Coincidence is a noun referring to the chance occurrence of events happening at the same time, seemingly without connection, while coincide is a verb meaning to happen at the same time or to be the same.
    • Urban Spaceman
The prefix "co" means "together", so "to coincide" can only mean "to incide together", and there is no such word as "incide". Now, will you please get off my back and stop trying to convert me to your way of thinking? You are nothing but a tiresome troll and I do not wish to interact with you any more. THE END
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Wrong again. It's "coincidence" in US English. Your UK words mean nothing on Answerbag, which is an American site.
  • You can always edit your reference so users can know you are referring to answerMug.
    • Urban Spaceman
I mentioned it in a comment, I saw you see it because I replied to your reply to it.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
I saw you mention answerMug in a comment, although Answerbag provides the reference feature so questioners can add details to their questions. Don't expect users to look for the pieces of the puzzle to figure out your question.
  • Edit your reference. You are only deceiving users.
  • Have you told anyone how much you hate Americans and US English?
    • Urban Spaceman
No, because I don't hate them. Posting misinformation about other users is against the TOS, isn't it?
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
You are delusional. Who is posting misinformation about you??????????????
    • Urban Spaceman
You are. You claimed that I was anti-American. You've also been saying my real-life friends are my sockpuppet accounts. Why are you making up stories like that? In your own words, "You don't have any proof to back up your claims". Especially when your claims are not true to begin with.
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
Do not change the subject, cause your question on the header is from a few years ago. Again, who is posting misinformation about you or your friends???
  • You don't have any proof to back up your claims.
  • Answerbag is not a British site. You can't tell Americans what words to use and expect not to get a response.
  • No proof as usual.
