Why are so many items motorized when they don't need to be?
I understand if you have a physical disability, but does the average person need a motorized car window or a motorized pencil sharpener or a motorized can opener? The non-motorized versions of these are faster and take very little effort!

simple answer tossers love it. Now lets toss off that we care about the environment, majority of the things we make are needlessly over complicated for no reason. Is it even possible to buy a car that doesn't have electric windows any more?

bostjan the adequate 🥉 Not here in the USA. If I'm driving a 2-seat small pickup truck, why do I want power windows? I can reach both handles from the driver's seat, I can manually roll them down 3x faster, and the mechanism is cheaper to manufacture and maintain.
