Trump's presidency was pretty much a perpetual disaster. Some will blame Trump, others will blame Trump's opponents, but, make no mistake, the greatest presidents in history were either unifiers, like Washington, or made bold and monumental changes effectively, like Lincoln. Presidents who were bold and divisive, but ineffectual, seldom get remembered by history as being worthy of accolades. That's why the vast majority of historians place Trump in the bottom five of US presidents. And as far as my personal opinion, I'd probably actually place him a little higher than most historians, but he was still an absolute wreck. Sure, he beat two impeachment proceedings, but the second one was only beat because of the extra stringent rules for conviction. As far as the facts were concerned, he was guilty in that case, and many even in his own party voted to convict, just not enough to reach a 2/3 supermajority, which has never been reached in US history, I might add. He was the only president in US history to be impeached twice, the only president in US history to willfully obstruct the peaceful transfer of power, the only president in US history to be arrested after leaving office - by rights, he also should have been impeached over violation of the emoluments clause, another first. And the people who believe that he committed all of those transgressions solely to protect the US population are delusional. Because... protect from what? Protect the US populace from Trump not being able to get richer from his position in the government? Protect the US populace from his extortion of political favours from foreign leaders? Protect the US from Biden ... by inciting a riot that lead to several violent deaths and still didn't stop Biden from taking office?! None of that makes any sense to a rational person, but alas, rationale is not the strong suit of the population of the USA these days, certainly not on the left and certainly not on the right. It's just two violent dysfunctional wings beating the crap out of the poor ol' bald eagle, with the wings unable to realize that they are part of that very eagle they are bludgeoning. So, in a way, I blame Trump not only directly for his mess that he presided over during his administration, but also indirectly for this mess we are in now as the US government tries to overcorrect and veer off into the far left. What we need now is a level-headed moderate leader who can stop the ship from swinging wildly to the left and to the right and just make some forward progress.

Even if he was the best president of all time as in did right by the people Im not saying he did that, from what I read here and other sites too many Americans hate him for that to happen. I can't work out why some users here hate him so much then excuse Joe Biden for everything.

The only one who will know whether Trump goes down is Melania. lol

Donald Trump I predict will go down as the most corrupt president. He scammed people with Trump U. He started an insurrection 1/6/20. He stole US secured docs. He tried to rig a presidential election. etc.
