  • He, like all other non-Syrian people and countries, should mind their own business and just let that country get on with it's own civil war. Stop interfering in what doesn't concern you !

  • Until congress votes to approve a war the president can do nothing. The last war approved by congress was WWII. If you remember or have seen video of FDR's speech before congress on the 8th of December 1941, he asked congress for an act of war. It was approved. Now they call it "police actions" using it as a loop-hole to go to war without the constitutional requirement for congress to approve a war.

Trump's recent use of military force in Syria points to a possible evolution in his thinking about the use of what is called American power. These "police actions" can wield to a world stage of conflict.
  • Legally, it's not his choice to make. But then again, why would he let that deter him ?

Recently, Israeli forces bombed Damascus in retaliation for a rocket attack by the Iranian military on its positions in the Golan Heights. If the US doesn't nuke Damascus, maybe Israel will. It is a mess in Syria.

  • NO he will follow the greatest President's past practice. He'll draw an invisible red line in the sand that only he can see.
  • Trump has a lot of choices one should be to stay out of other peoples wars that do not concern the security of the USA. If the big countries would stay out of small countries civil wars and quit supplying them things would soon get better.

  • yeah sadly America is not on the side of Syrian current government. I have heard news report of them even supporting the ISIS against the Syrian army in an indirect manner. I hope that is not true. But if they use FULL FORCE and people of Syria do not agree with American government than what? that is the real question here.
  • maybe
