Idiot-SavantWhile serving in the Canadian Army I was sent on a winter survival exercise in Northern Manitoba. Churchill, Manitoba to be precise. It was so cold we couldn't turn off the engines in our vehicles. If we did, they would never have restarted. It's a cold, desolate and empty place but we were never short of company. Churchill has a large and thriving polar bear community and there were always two or three of them hanging around. They weren't being friendly. They were hunting us.

Army Veteran@ Idiot-Savant - there's a live camera for watching the Aurora Borealis in Churchill. See what you can do to get the airport to shut its lights off once in a while.
