Dad was a professional singer so kept up with any new songs on the radio. He died in 1984 and was playing Wham, Sheena Easton, BeeGees, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Pavarotti.and more. Mom loved Sinatra, Dean Martin, Andy Williams and Rod Stewart!! lol

They only had a few albums, mostly "best of" compilations by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Mamas & Papas & a Mowtown "Chartbusters" compilation. 60s stuff mostly.

My parents were both born before the depression. Dad in 1918 and mother in 1921. They both liked that depression era music and country western. I still have their old 78 rpm records that range from the 1920s to the 1950s. 12/23/24
