Child molestation no. If you read Numbers 31:17,18 in the Bible it talks of young virgin girls captured in battle were divided among the solders. The solders could marry them, have intercourse with them, sell them, or make slaves of them. This was not considered child molestation in the manner we think of it today. for mor information on this google Numbers 31:18.

CreamcrackeredI have already provided evidence from Jewish sources, that what you are saying here isn't true, and a misrepresentation of Numbers 31:17-18. Although, a marriage could be arranged before a child reached puberty, they could not be married and have intercourse to consummate the marriage until they reached puberty which meant they had to reach menstruation and develop breasts, wider hips ie look like a woman, and then they were considered adults not children. For us an adult is above the age of 18, but for them an adult was someone who was fully developed bodily, and often they married a man of the same age as they too were considered men at puberty. Hence, for a person to be a child molester in that era, they would have to be attracted to a girl or boy who were under developed ie below the age of puberty. Things is context inform the reader more readily than those that are not.

CreamcrackeredI read the "about us," on that website and it says "In a world where Islamic beliefs and practices have endured constant barrages of ideological and bigoted attacks, it is not surprising that many Muslims may feel it is difficult to respond to such short-sightedness. Orientalists and Christian missionaries have contributed greatly to further add confusion around Islam and its adherents. That’s where our website comes in. Welcome to Discover The Truth, a resource which is dedicated to providing constructive responses and refutations against Islamophobes. We run on the Qur’anic motto of inviting people to our truthful religion with wisdom and fair preaching. Today, Islam is surrounded by many untrue accusations and misconceptions surrounding its adherents, beliefs and much more. It is with this situation that we provide readers with articles, blog posts and resources about various topics which have been hijacked by Islamophobes. For Muslims, it is intended to be a resource to better equip them with proper sources from the Qur’an and authentic Hadith (as well as scholarly works) when faced with accusations by Islamophobes or bigoted missionaries. Additionally, we invite non-Muslims to explore our website to gain a better understanding about Islam and Muslims without sensationalist untruths. We also offer research on comparative religion, examining other faiths such as Christianity, as well as exploring non-orthodox movements such as the Hadith-rejecting modernist Qur’anists.

CreamcrackeredQuote from https://islamgreatreligion.wordpress.com/2011/04/11/why-prophet-muhammad-married-aisha-when-she-was-only-9/ Prophet Muhammad The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.” {Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 234} This site states that Aisha's hair falling out was a sign of her going through puberty, as a woman who has been through puberty that is not one of the signs. He was around aged 50 when he married her, the last marriage among 11.

CreamcrackeredI'm not sure where you are going with your responses you appear very confused, first giving a site from a Christian turned atheist who went by an alias, and then from an Islamic site.

ThinkerCreamcrad you and Linda Joy are showing your hypocritical self serving selves as usual thinking you are so high and mighty. Well you both can go seduce yourselves ! I am finished with you and AB have fun writing stupid questions to make it to first place. I will gladly stay in last place. Screw you both.

CreamcrackeredPlease explain how I am showing a hypocritical self serving self, I am just responding to you in an honest fashion with facts regarding your own sources, and biblical verse, due to the nature of the question. I do not know you, but your responses appear confusing from an onlookers perspective, one backed by an atheist, and then one backed by an Islamic site, I am unsure of the motive, but to let you know something about me..if you leave a source I will look at it, and if you say something I will give it some thought, I don't frequent these sites enough to worry about winning anything you can see that from my profile, however I have found there is a lot to be learned and other's can help you challenge yourself which is why I pop in on sites like this. I wish you well.
