Guy goes up to the counter and asks for a pound of kielbasa. Clerk says,"You must be Polish." Man says to clerk, "Just because I ask for kielbasa, I must be Polish? If I asked for spaghetti, would you think I'm Italian? If I wanted soy sauce, I must be Chinese?" Clerk says, "It's not that sir. But this is a hardware store!"

As being of Polish heritage I think that pierogies are good, but not the best representation of polish food. I would go with the Golobki.

Fish & chips...even though I'm a vegan it's what us Kiwis are known for.

I'm Polish and Italian. I like Good stuffed caabge,kielbasi,and pierogi with potato or onion and sauerkraut. The Italian side has no limits.

Pulled pork barbecue hush puppies and sweet tea. I am from the Confederate States of America, my family can trace our heritage back into the early 1700's and before in the southeastern US. If you can go back more than 200 years that is where your family is from.
