Childrens cold medication (DO NOT DRIVE OR OPERATE HEAVY MACHINARY WHILE TAKING THIS MEDICINE) Cause every 5 year old gets hopped up on cold meds and gets on a tractor! And, the sad part is, they are required to put these warnings on things because they happen!

In Sweden McDonalds have this campaign were they give out free seeds at their restaurants, for tomatoes and so on. The bags read: "Contains small parts, not recommended for children under 3 years." I have also seen nut bags with the text: "may contains traces of nuts".

On the shampoo I regularly use it says "This is not a food product" in the tiniest letters on the back, it says shampoo in massive letters! why would you read the warning but not the bit that says shampoo!!

On my peanut butter jar - allergy warning: contains peanuts. HUH!! Also, candles: Do not leave candle burning when you leave your house. (I actually know someone who did this, and was shocked when she came home and her coffee table was ruined because the flame burned a hole through the side of the candle and wax spread all over her table. She's lucky her house didn't burn down.)

Back in 1992, I bought a Mossberg 500 pump action shotgun. When I brought it home and opened the box, there was a large, bright orange sticker across the breech opening (where you insert the rounds into the magazine) that said "Danger. Firing a loaded weapon at a person can cause injury or death." I have often wondered if that sticker was s a result of some lawsuit.

Well, the oddest thing I've ever heard about a warning label was on a airplane, years ago. Apparently the lady sitting behind me had never flown before. She was also apparently related to 'Jedd Clampitt.' Proudly, and loudly she exclaimed to the flight attendant: "This sign says 'fasten your seat belt while seated....well, how the hell else could you do it?" Seriously!
