    Personally, I've heard (and am going for) genetic testing. From what little I know the test looks for genetic markers that tell the doctor (Oncologist) that you are or are not predisposed to cancer.

    Genetic testing is for breast cancer and cervical cancer. Your monthly self breast exams and regular mammograms and colonoscopy would be a regular test for cancer chest x-Ray for lung cancer, biopsy of tissue prostate exams are a regular test for cancer your doctor would know what they all are. Ask them when you get your annual exams.
