If there was no warning, I would grab the dogs and lots of cushions and lay down in the interior closet. I would cover us with the protection and I pray to the Lord above to spare our lives.

I would take, me and my animals, flashlight and radio, to a secure place in my basement, take the cushions off the couch and flip it over on top of me, in case the house falls down.

I'd wish I was in the basement. If you see it coming right at your house, you are too late to get away from it. You can see the tornado funnel cloud as it travels, but that isn't a good idea. By the time you would seen one coming right for you, you probably wouldn't have time to do more than lie down.

It depends how close, If it was pretty close i would gather my family and pets and go into the basement, but if it was somewhat far i would go outside and stare at it with amazement take a picture then make sure everyone's in the basement and go in.

First I would think I was dreaming like Dorthy did in the wizard of oz. (You don't get tornadoes where I live) Then I would probably take my kids and cat and head to the basement of our apartment building.
