I am very familiar with my wife's rolling pin. It was a wedding gift to us, back in 1965. This rolling pin has made at least 5,000 homemade biscuits, dumplings and various other baked goods. This rolling pin is antique and valuable. And no, she has never threatened me with it. Its not for sale.

i have a weird looking rolling pin... i will find a photo and post what it looks like.

That is affirmative but I think I used it once. It's in the cooking utensil / knick knack drawer.

Yes I do, several. I've got a regular one with handles and a French rolling pin and a small one for rolling out things like potsticker dough.

My wife owns one. I helped put the dents in it. (She used my head yo...:)

Yes, a tapered "French" rolling pin.
-
No, it was one of my X wife's sentimental objects she took with her, must have been all the dents in it!
-
yes it also doubles as a defense weapon in case of attack while baking.

I thought I had one. My neighbor came over and asked to borrow mine about a month ago but I couldn't find it Wonder where it went to?

I do...It's actually a very nice one! ;)
-
Yep. I have a really nice wood one, but I'd LOVE someday to get a marble one.

Yes, I actually do own a nice, big wooden rolling pin.

Yes, I do. As a matter of fact, I have two rolling pins: THE one I cherish THE most and NEVER use is my great grandmother's. It has a "place of honor" along with family photos and other memorabilia. The 2nd is a 2 3/4" maple dowel I bought about 15 years ago. Its in "the knife drawer". I haven't used it in over 14 years. Other than making A LOT of homemade pizzas, which I never use a rolling pin for, I never was much of a baker. Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! Yes a marble one
-
Yes i own two. I tohught I'd lost one so bought another and immediately found the original one. Thing is, a rolling pin is something you rarely find yourself needing two of at the same time. I await the day when himself walks into the kitchen and shouts "Oh no, you are making pastry. I was going to as well, but you are using the only rolling pin"
-
Yes I got sick of having to use a mug to roll my dough out
-
Yes, I do. I even have a rolling pin "sock" to put over it so things don't stick to it. (I guess I need a life.)
-
yes, I use it to make beautiful cookies:

I have one a teflon coated thing that a former roomie left behind, I would bet she never used it before she moved in with me. And there is one that my grandpa turned on his lathe for my grandma that I will claim when she is gone.
