I think that would take the fun out of it.
-
Never
-
I worry more about being stung by a jelly fish. I've been stung twice now.
-
Yes,The fear ruins the snorkling injoyment.
-
Absolutely. They are out there and they love to eat people. I still love the ocean though.
-
Nope... If i get eaten, i get eaten. If i get mutilated, then kill me.
-
I never have thought about it before. If I did, I probably wouldn't swim in the ocean.
-
nope, after all i would jus be part of the food chain, nothin personal on the shrk's part. I was jus edible, he!
-
No, sharks are afraid of getting eaten by me.
-
Yes I used to get really scared to the point I wouldnt go in the water past knee depth
-
Yes, yes, and yes!! I am always super nervous when I swim in the ocean, grated it was only twice. However, I was afraid of getting stung by jellyfish. I was afraid of stepping on a crab...and I was swimming in really gray water so jaws music just kept going through my head. I'm a little guy like 5 foot tall so it would be nothing for a shark or a barauda or anyother thing that bites, to take a larg chunk out of me. sorry for the double post wasnt supposed to be a comment.

Not really. There are risks in virtually everything one does.
-
This is very far down on my list of concerns. So far down that it does not even enter my mind.
-
Yes no yes no, I don't know. I wonder whether they'e lurking just under the waves. I desperately want to see a big, black fin breaking the surface. Although I must admit this is highly unlikely on Cleethorpes (UK) beach. I've obviously watched Jaws too many times haven't I? Also another reason is that I really have nothing to fear being eaten alive by a man - eating monster, because getting my big toe soggy is about as adventurous as I get at the sea - side.
-
No I cannot say that I do. I love to swim in the sea.
-
Not really
-
Yes, but only when I can't see any sharks. When I see one I'm (usually) no longer worried about being eaten, and much more concerned with getting a good look at it (without narking it off). I tend to swim around in chum - it can get boring waiting for one to turn up..

My girlfriend is terrified of it, and I never think about it. I tried for to convince her that the chances were incredibly low that she would ever be attacked, and I think I was making progress. That was until one day, when literally 20 feet up the beach from us in the less than 3 feet of water, a girl was bitten by a shark... the first one recorded in the over 100 years. So suffice it to say, despite the dearth of statistics and common sense in favor of not being afraid of shark attacks... I do think a little bit that it might not be safe to go back in the water.

Yeah! Spielberg ruined it for ME. . . . .too!
