Albert Puhols.....wait till he gets heathly too.
-
A-Rod... he plays a very tough position, third, playing in one of the toughest cities, just for the media, New York, and he is the best player on a team who, I do not think is the best team, has the best players, to say it simply they have had a good portion of their starting lineup in all-star games. I'm not arguing that the Yankees are any good I'm just saying that many of their players are good and A-Rod is the best of them. Ohhh... Ya... He also hit, I believe it was, 14 homers in the first month of the season last year.

Definietly A-Rod. He is the youngest to every hundred home run milestone. He is on his way to 800 career home runs and has won the AL MVP award 3 times. He is definitely the best ball player around.
-
It depends on what you are looking for. I'd say all around player is A-Rod. Best NL player is Albert Pujols. Best pitcher: Johan Santana Best Catcher: Brian McCann (debateable)
