Is this a personal question or just a general question? Are you and yours ok? I believe a tumor is an abnormal growth of cells in the brain while a lesion is a type of tumor.

A lesion is a general term for any abnormal area. When you cut your finger, that's a skin lesion. In the brain a lesion could be a tumor, an aneurysm, an abscess, etc. A tumor is a growth of some kind -- either benign (growing in size but without spreading to other parts of the body) or malignant (cancerous and able to spread to other parts of the body).
