Honestly, I think it would be considered gross as opposed to rude although at times I've done it myself. I try not to do it in a public restroom though.

I think it is. My father talks to me when he's on the john but I don't know it until he flushes (it's a running joke in our family).

If you're in a public restroom, yes, it is very rude. It would usually be rude at other times. However, if your friend or family member doesn't mind, then it isn't a big deal.

Ive talked on my cell phone in the shower so i wouldnt think so. its a motorola i580. so its water proof and shock proof and all that good stuff.

If you're at home and you make sure that the other person can't tell what's going on then go for it. Then there's the guy in the washroom and answers the phone while on the john and he says things like. I'm a little tied up at the moment or I'm just taking care of some paper work or I'm just working my way through a situation. Whatever, it's just weird.

hello,i have never done that,and i wont,because id hate the other person to hear my bodily functions,as well as hearing the toilet flushing when im done.i think its stupid.

hello, yes ,well to me its embarrasing,not that i do this,but to have the caller hear you flatulate or void other bodily things is nasty and to flush th toilet? no no.

Yeah-pretty gross. Nothing like hearing someone relieve themselves when your trying to have a conversation, interrupted by a "fart" or a "flush". It gets even worse when you don't hear them wash their hands . Thats when it gets dicey.
