The Bible existed before the term lesbian or even homosexual or any and all of all LGBT related terms, but lesbians and homosexuals in general are condemned in the Bible. I believe Leviticus 20:13 speaks of man lying with man and woman lying with womankind (women) and both cases deserve stoning, though this was a really old law that only applied to Jews. Still, the Bible condemns sodomy, for sodom was destroyed via fire and brimstone, for the town was known for a mob of sinful men that demanded to "know" other men, and since they turned down the daughters of Lot and were angered when they couldn't "know" the angels, they were practicing homosexual gang banging.

I don't think the Bible ever says "lesbians".... but then again.... I'm not as up to date on Scripture as I maybe ought to be!!

I keep asking the same question because I love a woman and would dearly love to be intimate with her. But I think I just got my answer. It's not what people say. The Bible is unclear. Some say Ruth and Naomi were gay. Many other references are regarding men. I was questioning lesbianism and the bible, so I could maybe find out that it is okay because I realy wanted it to be okay. The more I searched, the more confused I became. It's time for me to quit asking and do what I know in my heart to be right for ME. You have to make the decision based on what you feel is right for YOU. I have no problem with those who feel that it is okay for them. It is just not okay for me. I hope this helps you :)

I can love someone without loving their personal lifestyle or sexual preference. For someone of the catholic faith to comment and represent the entire catholic faith by stating the act of homosexuality is not a sin is pure foolishness ! It is also a mockery of the faith ,misrepresentation,blasphemy ,and just plain ignorant,when it clearly states in the Bible (catholic Bibles too ) that homosexuality is a sin . When Jesus died on the cross He left us on earth the holy spirit to help guide us in our lives. The holy spirt within you should answer this question for you. If you feel convicted then the lord has other plans for you. If you don't feel convicted then maybe it could be what has planned for you. Here Paul specifically condemned both male and female homosexuality. He condemned homosexual practices as unnatural and obscene.

And if a Man lies with a man as if he relying with a woman then both of them must be taken away to die. The word woman means man who has a womb. So just because the Bible doesn't specifically say man in that scripture don't think that that's a loophole in the law of God don't think that just because you are a woman you're going to be exempt from the word of God. You're a man with a womb woman so that scripture applies to you too
