Did they ever go out of fashion?! I have loads of pairs of flared pants. Jeans, cords, trousers, dress pants. They're a very flattering cut. I love flares!
-
Everything boomerangs my friend. They'll come back, though I'm not sure they went too far out of style.

With the Regency style jacket I guess "Groovy Man"
-
Oh, probably. Whatever goes around comes around.

I have rocked bell bottoms and flare leg pants since I was a Teenie-Bopper. I'm a hippie, and damn proud of it.
-
At some point, probably.
-
I've got mine waiting in the cupboard, cant wait ;P

I remember when there was an interview with Jesus, he told everyone that bell bottoms would be making a comeback in the year 2016. Until then I've still got mine, plus my flower headband and my paisley-amazing shirt.

From the original "big bell" wearer, PROBABLY! They made a very short comeback here (Texas), it seems like a year or 2 ago. They were in a few stores and then GONE! But, I usually stick with what I wear for years after it has gone out of style, so I probably won't go back to them til 10 years after their return, even tho' I was THE die-hard (tie-dyed) hippie!

Those might look good on small people. I'm kinda thick. I can't pull that off.

it's already started

Bell bottoms and flair are two different cuts. Fashions have away of reappearing every new generation. Wonder if Cross Colours will ever be back in style?
-
I think they're becoming a popular cut in jeans. Trouser jeans are sporing this bell-bottom sort of thing. Although the fad was before my time, I try to find pants that resemble the style. It's only a matter of time before somebody brings it back into the spotlight.
-
They are back after a fashion. We'll start seeing the fuller boot cut nipped in at the knee and quite fitted everywhere else. This shape in jeans is currently being shown in magazines like Lucky and InStyle.
-
Flares are my kind of jean. They add curves for my tom-boy frame.
-
Hopefully! I'd like to be able to shop for pants again. Not all of us look good in skinny jeans.

Martin X was mad when they outlawed bell bottoms / Ten years later they were sharing the same cell --They Might be Giants "Purple Toupée "
