I'm smart enough to know that I don't know just how smart the "average" is. So I say, YES. Final Answer.
-
not even average.
-
I'm average in some areas.
-
About average. Better in some subjects then others.
-
Below average.
-
Im smart in some areas and average in others.
-
Average...:(....:P
-
I am on the higher end of average.
-
That depends on the subject. I consider myself smart when it comes to things like writing, philosophy, and computers. However, when it comes to anything like history or mathematics, I'm average.
-
Is it arrogance if the question is asking for an honest answer? The Lord blessed me with a good brain -- it's the best thing I have. While I think bragging is tasteless, I find false modesty annoying as well. So yeah, I'm intelligent. But as Elwood P. Dowd once said, "In life, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. For a very long time I was smart, and I much prefer pleasant." So, hmm.
-
I tend to think that the average person is rather smart anyway but I have been accused of being a smartie pants lol!
-
I know I'm above average and this has gotten me into a lot of heat. If you think I have a 'smart' personality in this two dimensional format, you should talk to me and it is just 3 times worse in person. I am a smart-ass who makes smart statements until it smarts. Thankfully this is all counter-balanced with my very nice personality and my love for others so I'm sorry for all my smart remarks that I made in the past.
-
Smart? Er yeah...I'm going with average. Just.
-
Neither. Um...both. Well, I'm an eccentric. And what can be said about an eccentric? Certainly, not average!
-
I wouldn't say that I'm overly smart, that title goes to my husband, mother-in-law and my son. However I am smart enough to get by keep me out of trouble fake it really good when I have too, and ask for help when I have no clue.
-
Average in the brains department.
-
I would consider my self just average. Everybody tells me that I don't give myself credit. They think I'm smarter than the average person and I do know stuff that no one would ever think of. I don't know, even if I ever considered myself "smart" I still wouldn't take credit for it. :) Into my second year of college (criminal justice major) and I am holding a solid 4.0 GPA.
-
Average because my mom drank with me. Seriously. it's not funny !
-
I'll let you be the judge.
-

-
In School: I'm an ace in any Social Studies I do very well in Spanish, English, and Science I suck at Math
-
I'd say average. I don't have a ton of book smarts, but I do have street smarts.
-
mcuh more smarter then average. and now?
-
How do you gauge smart? If it's personal opinion I'd say Smart.

I couldn't think my way out of a wet paper bag.
-
Obviously dumber than a 2 year old!
-
I couldn't be a member of Mensa. So, what, could this toddler beat me at chess or something?
-
Mensa?
-
I had a high IQ, but throughout my life it has dropped, and it is now something like 20 points lower then it was when I was young. In my case there are physical reasons why this might be. But in compensation I have grown in experience, so I suspect that the drop in IQ hasn't had any real effect.
-
Look around you - smart isn't all it's cracked up to by or the world would not be in the shape it is. Whatever one has they have to how and where to apply it. No; I did not answer the question, I have no idea other than to say not as much as I would like. +5

I'm smart in some areas and dumb in some areas and so-so in still other areas. I know my I.Q. I think I have common sense, most of the time. I am not brilliant by any means. I think it all averages out to being normal, just like most everyone else. Happy Thursday! :)
-
I'm smart enough to know that any answer I give here will never make me look like a Mensa Member ... so I graciously decline. Thank you and have a good day.
-
Just to raise a minor point. To join Mensa they would need to sit an accurate IQ test and I would doubt if a two year old could do that. IQ is estimated for people below 16 years old and getting an accurate result would be almost impossible. Mensa offers supervised IQ testing throughout the British Isles. These tests are administered under strictly controlled conditions and take place at selected test session venues such as universities and hotels in towns and cities near you. Full, Supervised Mensa IQ Test sessions take around two and a half hours. There is often an opportunity to stay afterwards to talk to the Test Administrator - the person who conducts the test - about Mensa, the society and membership activity.
-
I took an IQ test once and it said I am smarter than some and dumber than others. That was good enough for me. Kudos to the two year old, I do hope that the child continues to get smarter with each passing day.
-
My son joined in middle school and after his first meeting got even smarter and let his membership lapse. :)
-
I became a member of Mensa when I was still in my mother's womb...so there! :-)
-
My son took these IQ tests and he was off the charts. I feel stupid compared to him.
-

Smart. Intelligence is directly tied to intellectual capacity. It is about being able to learn, remember and use new information to solve problems.
