My hands are huge for a girl! Any other women with very big hands? Mine measure 7 3/4" from fingertip to wrist... I absolutely hate when people ask to compare hands with me. Any tips on making your hands look smaller?

Ive have big hands. Ive never measured them until now though, 7' from the tip of the middle finger to the base of my palm. Im afraid I dont know of any way to make them look smaller unless you could get with a really big man whose hands are bigger than yours.

Mine are just shy of 8" and I don't think they look big. I do have long fingers but I like them. I can't think of any way to make them look smaller though...Sorry.

Cut back on jewelry, stay out of unflattering lightening that draws attention to your hands. And avoid the "Man Hands" episode of "Seinfeld" like the plague.

From the tip of my Middle finger to my wrist is 7 1/2" and with fingers all together my palm is 3 3/4" wide. However I don't think they look too big at all. I just think I have very wide palms. (better for giving massages with!).

I don't know any tips to make them look smaller. Maybe if you see them as they really are, you will feel differently about them. What's good about large hands? Large hands are seen to be strong, helpful and protective. Artists want to capture expressive hands for posterity. Nice hands are beautiful, so, if they are larger, the better to show them off.

I used to think my hands were big, but now I see that they're not. My wrists are just really small, so that makes it look like I have big hands. Maybe you have small wrists like me!

I am 5ft 2 and my hands are 6.25x2.75in. Stubby. I just bought a BCBG girls watch, white with "diamonds". Its awesome. the girl at the store told me it was too big, and "dwarfed" my hand. I bought it anyway because I loved it. took out a few links. So, you can make your hands look smaller by wearing a big chunky watch, bracelet, or bangles. Dont buy a mans watch as they are not feminine. I can guarantee if you do this your hands will look smaller, as mine looks like Im wearing my dads watch. Dont be self conscious about your hands, as I bet you have lovely elegant slim fingers. BCBG and Guess have the best trendiest watches for women. If you want to make your fingers look longer get fake nails. :) It really works and it doesn't make your fingers look so stubby. Trust me I have to do this haha. I hate my hands, but they are the only ones you get and just think of all the things you do with those hands of yours. Without them you could not perform all those lovely talents you know. Mine is piano :)

i am male, 6'1" and my hands are 7" long from wrist to middle finger, and i wear a size 6 ring... most girls ive known had much larger hands than i do..

Average man here that recently compare hand with 15 year girl. Her hand a lot larger than me. I am 20 and my hand so small compared to her that I am embarrass. She ask me to close fingers around her wrist but could not. there was about inch of space between middle finger and thumb. Her hand much more wide too. Girls in this country have very big hand.

You do not appear to realize what incredible hands you have. Most people, especially men, are flat-out mesmerized by women with big beautiful hands. Consider yourself one of the best and most fortunate women in the entire world! Period! Of course people want to measure themselves in comparison to you. I expect, secretly, most of them want to feel the wonderful rush of humiliation they feel when being dominated for a brief moment by a vastly superior human being, someone as great as you truly are. So, enjoy who you are. You deserve it.... I'd value hearing from you regarding this.

Talltina, You're not the only one who is not satisfied with your hands. Well, I am male and I also hate mine, because they are really big and I'm thin and not very tall. If you really want real change, I'd recommend you to have a plastic surgery. PS. My hands are 7 1/2 long from tip of middle finger, by 3 1/2 wide across the palm. I hate that my hands are so big. I always wished that I had dainty pretty hands, but I guess I'll get by with functional strong hands, rather than pretty. And, since my husband has bigger hands than I do, mine fit inside his when we hold hands. So at least I get to feel like I have small hands whenever I'm around him.

I, for one, LOVE large hands on women (e.g., Kate Beckinsale). So do many other men. There are probably a couple of reasons for this. Many of us have positive memories of our mothers' hands--holding them, watching your mother bake, &c. Also, a woman needs large hands to hold a baby.

I know that this probably will not help you, when I was on holiday I met this girl, we got talking she was quite nice, we arranged to meet that evening, we had a good time,and we met the next evening, while we were sitting on a seat on the river bank talking she leant over and kissed me, I was going to pull away, but then I kissed her back, while she was kissing me , she moved her hand up under my dress,she moved her fingers into places that I didn't know that I had, and it didn't take me long before I came off, when she took her hand back out, I saw that she had very long fingers, but she had thin fingers, so there are some nice uses for long fingers besides playing the piano.

-never wear white or light coloured gloves, only dark ones -grow your nails or get fake nails to make your hands look more feminine, but don't wear loud coloured nail polish as it will draw attention -practice graceful feminine hand gestures -don't wear sleeves or jewellery that draw attention to your hands, although a pointed or extra long sleeve will cover some of your hands and might look good ... if none of that works well enough, embrace your big hands and learn a skill that requires them (eg. play double bass!) :-)

Mine are 7 1/2" long and 3 1/2" wide, my fingers are actually only 3 1/2". I'm not complaining. I'm a photographer/artist so big hands actually come in handy for me. I don't hide them. I really don't think you should either. Be proud of them, let them know that they are creative or crafty hands :)
