Ive never lied on a resume but I usually leave a certain place off of it though because I think I would probably get a bad reference from them.

I actually underestimate myself on Resumes as opposed to blowing them out of proportion. However, years ago, I did tell an interviewer who was going over my Resume with me (where I didn't think I was going to get a second shot at the job) that I typed 90 words a minute.. He made me take a test. I typed 65 or 68 and I was hired. I told him I was having an "off day" on the typewriter. This was way before computers. Oh, geez......what did I just say!

Not me but a friend I know in his early 20's lied about knowing anything about the concrete business in an interview, they hired him and his fellow workers helped him learn without giving away that he knew nothing about concrete....He owns that multi million dollar company today.....Eventually marrying the bosses daughter helped a little too...lol

I never had to lie. I haven't filled out a resume in over 26 years.
