This is a little scary, so bear with me... I am a systems administrator at a location with a Novell Network using IPX (ew, i know) and found the following instructions on Microsoft's TechNet site, it involves installing the Windows XP drivers on Vista. I haven't done this yet so if it works let me know... YOU DO THIS IN YOUR OWN RISK. If you do this, take backups. Requires: MS Windows XP (SP2): 1) Create new folder named 'temp' to root of your Vista drive ( C: ). Copy the following files from XP (or expand from XP CD) installation: WindowsSystem32driversnwlnkipx.sys WindowsSystem32driversnwlnkflt.sys WindowsSystem32driversnwlnkfwd.sys WindowsSystem32driversnwlnknb.sys WindowsSystem32driversnwlnkspx.sys WindowsSystem32rtipxmib.dll WindowsSystem32wshisn.dll WindowsSystem32nwprovau.dll (Following folder is hidden) Windowsinfnetnwlnk.inf Windowsinfnetnwlnk.pnf to C:Temp, and to corresponding Vista folders. 2) Control Panel->Network Center->Manage network connections. Right-click your LAN connection and select Properties. Click Install..., select Protocol and click Add... The NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS protocol may be listed on the Network Protocol list. DO NOT SELECT IT. Click Have Disk... Browse to C:Temp. Select netnwlnk.inf. Click OK. Select NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS from the list. Vista will tell you that the publisher could not be verified. Click Install. If all goes well, the protocol should be now installed. Restart computer.

I installed IPX/SPX to Vista, but I am unable to config it and I am not sure if it even works... (I dualboot with XP and Vista, so if you do not, you'll have to expand the files from XP CD.) Good luck <edit> I copied the file from Finnish XP, so the protocol name in picture is different
