How do I tell the difference between stainless steel and tin lining in a copper pan?

Other than the fact that they look different, I don't know. Stainless is heavier. Tin doesn't get shiny or look spun like some stainless steel. Tin has a grayish look to it. SS sometimes looks like it has tiny lines going around, like it was spun around on the inside.
