I wish I could say that I remember to take the cloth bags I am sick of trying to dispose of the plastic ones.
-
My store only at the present time use plastic bags, so I take the same ones back all the time when I go grocery shopping.
-
Nope, never have and never will.
-
At Trader Joe's my wife and I do yes. I *HATE* those paper bags with the handles, the handles always rip off on a bag that has eggs in it and I waste a whole carton. Also by using our own bags we get entered into weekly drawings for something like $25 in free groceries.
-
I use the plastic shopping bags and recycle them. The store has a plastic bag recycling bin and they take that plastic and make trash bags. The sales from those trash bags are donated to local area schools.
-
I have never owned one but I would always forget to take it. besides the plastic grocery bage fit the sm bedroom trash cans pretty good !
-
I don't use cloth bags but i do have about 5 thick plastic bags which i use every time i go shopping. It doesn't take much to remember to take bags with you when you go shopping.
-
No.. I use plastic and then reuse as pooper scoopers for my doggie :)
-
No, I know I should but I will need to get several bags,I can't do that right now
-
No, the plastic ones work great for garbage so they don't go to waste actually anyway.
-
yes and I floss.
-
Yes, these big cargo bags from Costco!
-
Yes, I have several of them.
-
Yuppers, theyre great! any way to help the world out, is a great way to do things!
-
Yes. I have many that have handles which makes it easier to carry.
-
Yes I use them for many things.
-
I have considered buying about 10 of them. My luck I would leave them at home on shopping days...
-
I sometimes bring mine but I'm afraid between needing those plastic bgs for scooping in the used cat litter and using the paper sacks for draining fried or greasy foods, I sue those up pretty well and don't need my cloth bags very often. PLus we often shop at the big discount store and use one big box to carry things in.
-
When I can get them.
-
Sure do. I make a point to always put them in my car so that they will be there when I go shopping.
-
No i do not. I use paper (maybe I will though)
-
No, but I re-use all the plastic ones, as trash bags, trash-can liners, substitute for packing peanuts, etc. I never discard them after only the one grocery-store use.
-
Alas....I have purchased the bags and they are in my trunk. I always forget to take them in. And then I am too lazy to go out to the car and get them. (I know that this is week!) I don't seem to be able to get into the habit. This is one of my goals. If I don't have this under control by the end of the year, it will be my New Year's Resolution. (This question is a great reminder. Thanks!)
-
No...and I don't see how it would be convenient for the clerk who already has her merry-go-round plastic bag minnie amusement park........
-
I just started to. They hold up pretty good, I'll need about 8 more though.
-

-
Yes, every day while cleaning my kitty litter box.
-
YES!! GO GREEN!!!!
-
No, but will reuse the plastic bags for other applications once the groceries are unloaded.
-
I'm trying to. Most of the time I forget to bring the bags to the store with me. I have four of them I just need to remember to use them.
-
Yes, I do.
-
Nope, I should though
-
Yes, I do.

here in Australia you can buy reusable plastic bags for 15 cents or buy the dollar reusable bags made out of some cloth that in time breaks down ...so i have mostly the cloth reusable bags and if they rip etc the store replaces them.... the store has a recycle bin there for plastic bags ,so i save all my plactic ,bread wraps etc etc and i put them in the recycle bin at woolies { woolworths} ..id say most super markets do that now since law come in to use your own bags ..
-
-

I reuse the 'disposable' plastic bags my purchases come home in. (Sometimes double and triple bagged) And I have some reusable ones. One is insulated. I take them with me if I know before leaving I'm going to Aldi. I also reuse boxes. But if I ever go to another store I take the bags they give me and reuse them for lots of stuff!
-
Nope. I use reusable plastic shopping bags for minor trips, or my VersaCart Folding Utility Cart for lots of groceries.
-
only at Sam's or Costco
-
Yes, I've used reusable cloth shopping bags for years
-
I should but I don't.
-
Not yet. Thinking about doing so in the future. (I expect that it's actually quite a bit safer and cleaner, given you can wash cloth shopping bags.)
-
