  • Scammers all over the world want nothing more than to separate a fool from their money! Be cautious and don't believe everything we see online. IMHO 4/23/25
  • 4/23/2025, elderly people are more vulnerable to taking the bait. "Your word is your bond" is what they grew up believing in the old days. Nowadays, the world is filled with liars. They see a message on YouTube saying, "Your phone is infected, Clean Now," and they end up pressing the message, causing their phones to get infected with a virus. I have an elderly relative in his 80's who was downloading almost anything. His was phone was running slow. He asked me to check it. I checked it, and it turned it that his phone had numerous downloaded apps. I'm like, my goodness, these are all unnecessary apps, such as a virus cleaner, unknown shopping apps, a phone speaker equalizer and more. I asked him why is he pressing on the pop up messages he sees. He said, the message said it was going to clean his phone and boost the performance of it. I told him not to download any advertisement apps, Amazon and eBay are plenty of shopping apps, his phone is loud enough, and basically, do not take the bait. I Uninstalled all the unnecessary apps, restarted his mobile device, and his phone is working like new.
