  • That "clarification" is as simple as it gets. How could anybody define it differently and keep a straight face? I don't know if it is an advancement in humanity or not, but it is an advancement in common sense, IMHO. 4/17/25

Hopefully someone explains this to the Australian federal court and we think we live in a free country wonder who owns us all.

Isn't it amazing that so many people can no longer tell us what a woman is?
  • Its makes the Australian federal court look stupid doesn't it. Hopefully they study this case here in Australia,
  • Points: #1 - This was a ruling in the UK, not the EU. This ruling only applies to the UK. #2 - The ruling refers specifically to the use of the word "woman" in the UK Equality Act, and not to any other aspects of UK law. #3 - Significantly, what it means is that a "space" or "service" designed or designated "woman-only" can only be used by people who were born female (i.e. cannot be used by transsexuals identifying as women) * In other words: "For women only" bathrooms and changing rooms will not be available for the use of people not naturally born as women. * Again: only in the UK, not in the whole EU * And note that the ruling has no effect outside of the UK Equality Act. For example: it has no effect on who can and cannot participate in sports...even in the UK. * The ruling is good sense. It helps protect individual rights. Of course: some will disagree and say that it does just the reverse. * But in any case it's strictly UK and is unlikely to influence any other, similar law anywhere else in the World.
  • You mean a woman can't have dangly bits? That's very retro.
