  • The Tesla Cybertruck is legal to drive in the US. They are supposed to be designed to meet all federal safety standards and regulations. The brake lights are not too bad, seeing how the whole light bar is illuminated evenly. Then when the driver hits the brakes, you can see the intensity of the two outer brake lights, while the center of the light bar looks like a third brake light: https://youtu.be/xDgPuKW9KlM?si=qCDoQXL89ASARvIA If I was driving behind a Cybertruck, I can understand how the brake lights work. Don't be fooled by the design.

Who in God's green Earth are you? I've never seen you on Answerbag. Anyways, Google was used to know if Cybertrucks are legal to drive in the US. As for the rest, I figured out why people like stevo are complaining about the brake lights by watching some videos.

the US design rules say the 3rd brake light shall be higher than the indercators do they not? The question probably should of been why are telsa specail as in design rules do apply to them

stevo, nope, even tailgate light bars are legal in the US: https://youtu.be/KcE-kTPbivY?feature=shared And those lights should be banned, cause they are extremely bright. So stop hating on Tesla owners. LOL

who in their right mind would use self drilling screws on a panel? it will rattle out,Will that led stuff last a yaer? that stick on led stuff is for inside . It wont like getting wet. cheap crap

Mostly rednecks. The LED strips will eventually fade over the years, but they are quite durable: https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.yeelight.com%2Fblogs%2Feverything-about-lights%2Fhow-long-do-led-lights-last%23%3A~%3Atext%3DOn%2520average%252C%2520a%2520good%2520quality%2Cabout%252013%2520to%252045%2520years!&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl2%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4

Ive put that LED strip on some of our mobile coolrooms it didn't last that long we dont bother with it any more. Never use those self drilling screws on anything that moves

I very much doubt what you say. If you Google the LED strips, they have 4 out of 5 stars meaning, customers are satisfied with their purchase. To top it off, the better quality products have a 3-5 year warranty. As for the self-drilling screws, give me a good reason why holes should not be drilled to a panel. I don't believe either the LED strips will rattle, simply cause they are lightweight, and they already use 3M foam tape for installation, which sticks well to panels, heck, even bricks: https://youtu.be/WbrtfU8jHF8?si=InsD3psRbYFAYLU2 I think the self-drilling screws are recommended by the manufacturer, just in case the person installing the LED strips forgets to wipe the panel down with wax and grease remover.

How many self drilling screws have you ever screwed into anything? that tape in the sun what a great idea. google reviews quick delivery time its just made in china rubbish.

You haven't given me a good reason why self-drilling screws should not be added. I'll give you a good reason. If I had a truck, I would not have the panel drilled out to install the LED strips. Why? It looks crappy and besides, I like to keep my vehicles in original condition to maintain their value. This is what I will do instead if I bought the LED strip. It's better to install it with just the 3M foam tape, (as if I was installing side moldings on a vehicle) to say how simple the installation is. And No, the sun does not affect the special tape used on side moldings or trims. Nowadays, almost everything is Made in China anyway. The 3 year warranty is the best option, knowing that within 3 years, I might get an LED strip upgrade.
