Yes, born of spirit, Gospel of John. Jesus Christ was the first fruits. Christ was the first flesh and blood man, who's spirit was the spirit of God, in being born of spirit, we become like Christ, as the indwelling Holy Spirit of God lives within. In order to do that you have to humble yourself, like Jesus in Phillipians 2, die on the cross with Jesus, (the flesh and worldly self), then be born again with the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. Hence, not your will, thinking, reasoning, but God's will, thinking, reasoning, bought at a price, (Jesus death for sin in your members). It is not your ego that lives, but Christ's spirit in you. You are the temple of the living God, the false self is the worlds, flesh driven self. Hence when you die, you will have an immortal body, as the spirit and soul are then one. Flesh in of itself, turns to ashes and dust as we know. We are fallen, separated from God, as is this world, Christ comes to us in our darkness "ignorance," but the darkness doesn't recognise the light. Christ is the light.

Yes, we who believe in and have faith in Yeshua (Jesus) have been adopted into the children of Yahweh (God) forever.

According to the Bible, devout Christians are sons (and daughters) of God "by adoption" and "therefore co-heirs with Christ" (at least with regard to receiving eternal life, but also some other things).
