  • Christianity was started by Jews, Jesus being Jewish, however despite Jesus original message of saving Jew first, over gentile, it has become popular in Rome, (the west) where the prior religion was Sol Invictus/Mirtha. Some would also argue that if Jesus came to save the whole of mankind, then how can one be biased by things such as nationalism, especially bearing in mind he also noted his kingdom is not of this world. Jews also believe that they are to save the world by freeing it the sparks of Hashems light from matter ie the kelipot (evil), they too support the fact that Israel should be mainly Jewish because of Hashems promise. Man has been placed into this realm in which darkness and evil prevail, enabling man to have free choice in his life. One of man’s spiritual missions is to gather up those holy sparks from wherever they may be and elevate them to their original level. They accomplish this mission by means of Torah study, prayer and the performance of good deeds. It's certainly a conundrum.
  • Not necessarily, but it often does.
