Did any of your parents/grandparents play cards? What do you think they would have thought of the computer versions of those games?
My mom and sisters used to play and my stepfather on occasion. Oddly the two I remember playing most are my mom and my sister Rosemary. They're both gone now, both to cancer. What are/were your parents/siblings favorite card games? What are yours? Or do you even play?

My father still plays solitaire online. I still play cards with the real thing, I play go fish, black jack, 21, and one that my partner's mother made up I don't think it has a name.

Both sets of my grandparents have long passed. On one side of the family, I don't remember my grandparents ever playing cards. They were both drinkers, however LOL (She was somewhat of a prude...he was a great influence in my life :)). On the other side of the family, my grandmother wouldn't allow a deck of cards in the house - she thought they were evil. They were farmers, so my grandfather never had time to play cards, even if he had the courage to defy my grandmother. My mom and stepdad were avid card players when I was a kid, but seemed to have backed off by the time I got older.
