Why is my child such a pick eater?
I know for sure she has an anxiety disorder, this could be chalked up to that. However, I don’t think so. She’s extremely picky with her food, she wasn’t like this when she was younger. In her head certain foods can’t touch, for example if she’s eating a quesadilla the cheese can only touch the tortilla if it’s a certain type and a certain temperature and consistency. If my husband or i try and encourage her to eat it, she has a full meltdown, close to a panic attack. some foods are worse than others, and sometimes it depends on the day. She’s sixteen and I feel like i need some answers.

Lots of them are picky eaters. One of my grand kids would only eat pizza or beans and tortillas for quite awhile. She had us all shaking our heads one evening when we got a rectangular pan pizza. It was a pepperoni pizza, her favorite, but she wouldn't eat it because "I only like ROUND pizza." She has out grown it now, and only has a few foods she won't eat. Yours probably will too.
