No. I spend a lot on clothes, and washing and dry-cleaning involve a lot of wear and tear. I am not going to pay $500-$1000 for a dress and immediately throw it into a washing machine. I try even to limit dry cleaning. Cheaper items (low-end underwear and t-shirts, for example) might comprise more chemicals and other things, so I'll run them through a warm-water rinse cycle and air dry.

I put in the washing machine newly-purchased underwear, pants and shirts before I wear them. Washing removes the stiffness and chemical smell in clothes.
