How safe is it to drink City Water that is hard and or would you be better to drink spring water from the store ?

You can get a filter pitcher at the thrift store and filters at Aldi or WalMart. But I think City Water should meet minimum standards. But then lots of people waste money paying for water...

People have been drinking hard water for years, people now in their 80's and 90's.
