how many times a day does a person hear the contradiction of how a drug can help, while the narrative reports a slew of possible harmful or deadly consequences. This is classic cognitive dissonance.

Cognitive Dissonance? Or maybe just informing people that there are options out there that their doctor may have not told them about and that sometimes there is a possible downside. It's all about perspective.

What is inappropriate and disturbing about learning ones options? Information is power. Why would anyone want to remain ignorant about their options? No one is forcing meds down your throat. That's a personal choice, but its better to make an informed choice. Now that I think about it why would you want to keep this information from the public? In what way does it threaten you? Why would you want to keep people ignorant about their health choices?
