  • Go somewhere private to read your Bible and take your sketch pad with you. Do what you know is the right thing to do. Pray. I'd like to suggest James 1:3. It says if any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not and it shall be given him. Pray and ask God any time you don't know what to do. The answer might not come immediately. But it will come in God's perfect timing. Reading your Bible will help you know Him better. Praying will draw you close to Him. Keeping His commandments will show your love for him through obedience and this will aslo keep you safe. The commandments are for our protection. But the greatest commandment is to love and show your love. Continue to show your love for your family even if they persecute you. This is how you show you are trying to be like Jesus. But its o.k. to tell your family members that it hurts you when they treat you badly and that you are only trying to do what you feel in your heart is the right thing to do. It might help if they know they are not going to lose you because of your new belief and that you are not going to try and force it on them. Belief is a choice it can't be forced. But belief and faith leads to a sure knowledge when your eyes are opened to the truth. I'll be praying for you.

Thank you I'll try and read the bible even if it bothers my family. I'm still trying to connect with God. God has a plain for me in art but my family is against it.

      talk to sonneone else then
  • What should you do? Sanctify yourself by believing in what's right. Revelation 22:11 "Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy."
  • Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Your Actions should reflect your beliefs. Perhaps there is some behavior that you are exhibiting that is causing them to question your relationship with God. If they are mistaken, then certainly do not allow them to come between you and your creator. (Romans 8:38,39). If they have basis for concern, listen to them and seek council from the Holy Scriptures. As an adult, you can apply the knowledge that you have acquired. As opposed to allowing others to dictate how you live.
  • just do what god wants you to do
  • Follow God's way and will. Listen to the Holy Spirit as He prompts you to say or do anything. And when nay sayers say something to you as if you are evil just do His will. And always thank Him. Plus the Bible is God's words so it cannot be evil. Just keep on praying for them.
  • Basic truth here is that God exists within you as you...... Nothing can take that away from you...... Your relationship to God is between you and God..... If you nourish this relationship, Your life will become filled with Happiness and Bliss.

      Hey Baba! Great advice! :)
  • Whats your religion? so they fight with you for reading bible.
  • Have a happy life and don't be afraid to tell people you believe in God out loud. It's not a bad word you shouldn't be ashamed of it it seems like a lot of people are like it's a joke they believe in God never deny God
  • I’m so sorry for this. Of course you should believe in God. 2Tim 3:1-5 tells us that in the last days Critical times hard to deal with will be here.,..and people will have no natural affection. But the is a hope found at Revelations 21:3,4. God will wipe all tears away and sadness will be no more. For more information on this subject please visit jworg
  • You can deal with this by praying. Prayer to God always works. Strengthen your faith with Christian good advice, and much prayer with thanksgiving, and show Christian love to them.
  • Bella doll, it sounds like you are at your spiritual witts end. If I may, I had a similar experience with my Dad, it got to a point that we could not talk about anything spiritual. So, I had to choose, my relationship with my Father on earth, or my relationship with my Heavenly Father. I chose my Heavenly Father, and never looked back. It's like Psalms 27:10 says... When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.(KJV) also Psalms 9:10 gives us this encouragement..."And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." So let me encourage you to pray to our Heavenly Father, and pray using His great and holy name at Psalms 83:18 "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth...(KJV) Here is a link to a study book; What Can the Bible Teach Us? https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&prefer=lang&pub=bhs ... I hope you find it informative and faith strengthening.
