I dunno...a Tse-tse fly? What about a killer bee? I know. One of those blue-ringed octopi. An adult stores enough venom to kill 20+ humans and there is no known antidote.

A great ape such as a gorilla or an orangutan, when you see them in documentaries they seem so similar to humans (& possibly more human than some I have met...).

A baby tiger They are so darn cute being mini versions of their mom&dad.

A young female jaguar that's never been spayed or had any offspring, but not when she's in heat spraying everything. I just want something that's human-sized, pretty, and loves cuddling.

An orangutan. They are great apes of a higher order of intelligence -- very sharp, clever, and interesting. The great cats are quite beautiful, but real interactions would be limited with them. If they are not going to eat you, they are not interested in you. Orangutans are another matter.

an otter. I saw a documentary where one was someone's "pet" and it tore up the house, sniffing out everything. it turned over everything. it's curiosity was relentless and funny as hell!

I like animals in general so I don't really mind. A lion or a tiger would be nice.

I would love to see up close an orangutan. They are such intelligent exotic mammals.
