Only if it was for a very good reason! I've had to extinguish fires in training scenarios. It's not fun! It's very hot, sweaty, dangerous and those hoses are hard to hold onto with all that water pressure behind them! I was invited to go to firefighting School and declined! And I was just really thankful I had the option to decline! But if it was for a good enough reason I'd do it.
