How can I prove discrimination in the workplace?
Im having a hard time getting and keeping a job. Im 4ft5, I think people are descriminating and they either wont hire me or if they do find some excuse to dump me later, like my last job handing out samples in stores. I was doing great and the managers there liked me until they sent someone over to train me, that person did mention how i would count the stuff on the top shelfs to write down how much i sold. I couldve just asked one of the workers to do it or used a rolling ladder but she mustve told the company and the next thing i know they said i cant do it anymore cause they have too many people in my area which i know aint true cause ive been told they had noone in my area. it leaves me stuck with no income almost all the time, how can I prove this is happening?

There is nothing in your post that indicates discrimination except that you got fired. That leads me to believe that you are doing or not doing something that people are unhappy with. If this is happening a lot then you are doing something seriously objectionable. Most people in that case know they are doing a few things that people don't like but they refuse to believe how seriously that behavior turns people off. Ask 3 or more people why people might be unhappy with you or your performance. You will hopefully get a pretty good idea why you turn people off but you have to take EVERYTHING they say very seriously. Also understand that in order not to hurt your feelings they will UNDERstate the things you need to change.

For your height, people are going to stare. Try getting a job as a hobbit, leprechaun or pixie. In show business, there are jobs for any height - short or tall.

If you're handing out samples for a living, it doesn't sound like you have any marketable skills. Get some experience in something to increase your market value, then piss off on the bottom-rung jobs.

There's no point Pearl, you can't prove it, just move on and find something else, and go to evening college and learn a new skill, what do you want to do?
