It's impossible to conceive before ovulation has occured. In order for conception to take place, an egg must be released into the fallopian tubes (this is ovulation). Repeat: You cannot become pregnant if ovulation has not occured. Sperm can live in the vagina for as long as one week, so it's possible for a sperm that was ejaculated several days before ovulation to fertilize the egg, but even for this to occur the egg MUST be released from the ovary first.
