yes I do! yearn for the burn!
-
Absolutely. Everything has a price. If you're scientifically inclined, gain without pain is equivalent to a violation of the law of conservation of energy.
-
Yes, I sure do!
-
I tend to agree with the famous No pain, snort cocaine........not that I condone that kind of thing.
-
No, I do not. Although I would agree to "pain is gain", the opposite would mean no gain could be obtained by for instance being lucky, which I think is untrue. sometimes you're just lucky and find an answer to a question by simple coincidence.
-
In terms of working out.
-
Yep!! :-/ this runs true!
-
It depends on what you are doing. I am going to PT and the motto for me is "No pain, all to gain." Abuse it now and you may gain for a while but later in life there will be pain...LOL
-
Yes, absolutely!
-
Not true at all times. Sometimes too much pain creates injuries.
-
No, I have pain all the time, what am I gaining, endurance points?
-
Yes...except for the weekends.
-
To a point. You can injure yourself after so much pain:) But if you cant handle discomfort, you wont gain shit:) Hope that helps:)
-
+5 no no no.... if that was the case i would be the richest woman on earth. screw that crap :p
-
not at all. it doesnt hurt to get chocolate and that causes gains.
-
I disagree because gaining weight is not painful at all LOL :p
-
One of the absolutes in life...like death, taxes and really good blues guitar. Without pain you ain't livin!
-
It is a very true statement. It would apply not just where financial and material gains are concerned but in intangible gains like in building of a goodwill.
-
I don't. I think it's just another "blankie" people hang on to when the going gets tough. Some gains are painless, pain-free and easy peasy. But hey...if thinking that experiencing pain is the only way to gain and it makes someone feel better I see nothing wrong with it. All of have crutches of one kind or another! :)

for certain things and certain types of pain, yes... but not always
