Many times.
-
all the time +5 fth
-
I will if there is time. Unfortunately, however, there isn't always if they dart right out in front.
-
I always do by my instinct because I deeply respect the life of every being.
-
Yes many many times..I've even had a car crash because of two dogs..it was either that or run the dogs over so..my reflexes went the opposite direction..lol
-
To many times to count. I try my best not to run over any living thing, but there are times where that is not possible.
-
Yes they have life and animals are living .
-
Sure. Once there was a row of ducks (mom and her offspring), which I gave right of way. Flashed my lights to warn the oncomming car, which stopped as well. Nice moment.+4

I have gone so far as to get out of my car and shoo them away. I will also stop and move turtles out of the road.
-
In Arizona...when the quail coveys were about they would skitter across the roads with all the little quailets...so doggone cute...I just wanted to stop and watch....
-
yes, and to make up for it I run down pedestrians
-
When we go to spend a day in the forest in the nearby wild life sanctury, we often have herds of elephants crossing the road. We must necessarily stop and let the elephants pass for their and our own safety.
-
YES! Just two days ago I stopped for a squirel who seemed to have a death wish.
-
In Alaska we came to a stillstand because a little Grizzly couldn't decide what to do and in British Columbia an entire herd of mountain goats was lingering on the highway. I exited the motorhome and shooed them away, it took me a while......
-
Sure, many times
-
yes, so many times...and I haven't knocked down any animal. +5
-
Momma duck and her ducklings. Almost rearended because of it.
-
yep, many times....even a slow moving turtle once....
-
I've often taken action to avoid hitting an animal, not always successfully. If it involved letting it cross the road then so be it - but so far it hasn't come to that
-
I love animals. I stop whenever I can. If the cars behind me do not like it, that is too bad. My best experience was when a squirrel darted in front of me. I did not even have any time to hit the brakes. I thought I had run over it. Instead, it stuck its head up and ran on his way. Good question NUNYA +5

Several times a day. I can not drive to the store without an animal crossing my path. I love nature and all it's little creatures. I yield the right away to those who can not read. :)

Unless my stopping, slowing down, or swerving will cause even more damage, of course. I've dodged dogs, cats, raccoons, squirrels, birds, and at least one deer, and a horse. We were driving back home from he lake after dark on a winding country road, and on one right-angle curve, in the straightaway to another, there was a deer in the middle of our lane. If I hadn't stopped, our van would have been a major mess, as would the deer and the road. I also slowed and stopped (same winding road, almost the same area) once for a HORSE. It had gotten away from it's pen. A friend and I were on motorcycles, and we helped corral the beast for the owner, who was chasing it. I have hit a dog in my town before (ran out in front me, and no way to stop), but it jumped up and ran away. I called 911, when I couldn't find it, and it ran off toward schools, which would be filling with kids in a few hours. And I've hit a flock of birds (well 2-3). I've never known birds to stay on the highway when a car is getting close. I believe I was passing someone, too. A couple of flock, apparently didn't hear the others' warnings. I MUCH prefer to slow down, stop or swerve, when I can.

Anyone who doesn't is a sick person.
-
Yes, there was this huge family of geese crossing the road the other day when I was helping a friend move. They took forever but I believe that it is worth it.
-
Of course I have! I say love animals, don't kill or eat them!
-
Always. Just because I control a giant metal and plastic behemoth beast, (I own a Saturn, haha)doesn't mean I shouldn't respect our wildlife.
-
of course. I would never hit an animal. Now my ex husband--:0

I have many times on the streets. Not on the road, specifically the rural roads going 65-70 mph.
