Linda Joydoes it press down and do nothing or not press down? Have you tried vacuuming the keyboard? Tip it upside down and thump it a time or two see if a crumb falls out. Or is it stuck? Wipe it with a damp cloth.

Typically (in the U.S.) either a newt or salamander (i.e. an amphibian rather than a reptile/lizard). {{ https://maamp.us/index.php/salamanders/lungless-salamanders/southern-two-lined-salamander }} {{ https://maamp.us/index.php/salamanders/lungless-salamanders/spring-salamander }} {{ https://maamp.us/index.php/salamanders/lungless-salamanders/red-salamander }}

My mistake. There are lizards and lizard-like reptiles in some of the U.S. states. I think this is a more-or-less complete list of U.S. reptiles, with pics. {{ https://www.inaturalist.org/check_lists/139655-Reptiles-of-the-United-States }} -

Try this one {{ https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/36343-Holbrookia-maculata }} or the Gila Monster! (Beware!) {{ https://www.bing.com/search?form=MOZSBR&pc=MOZI&q=gila+monster }}

I think you are talking about a salamander.

I've never seen one myself in real life; however, I have seen pics of some. I think one was called a bearded dragon that just happened to be orange. Others I've seen pics of were simply listed as lizards. I don't think that they are dangerous...just freaky looking!!! Some kid probably talked mom or dad into getting them one & then lost interest & it managed to escape. They are as afraid of you as you are of them, so I wouldn't stay awake looking for one!!!
