Not really, whats one day, maybe you don't even know exactly the right day is anyway. One of my ex's skipped a whole month and half and she wasn't pregnant, your body goes through changes, nothing is normal when is comes to that, don't fear about what you don't know. Wait alittle before taking the test, unless its free for you, can't tell you how much money I've wasted in the past, take care

There is an over the counter test, EPT which is very accurate immediately. But why waste the money for being one day late, could be a delayed period. Just give it a few days

G'day Anonymous, Thank you for your question. There is no test available that could pick up a pregnancy after 1 days. An early pregnancy factor (EPF) test could pick it up after two days but it is expensive. All commercially available tests are human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) which can pick up pregnancies between 6 and 12 days. The earlier that you test, the greater the chances of false negatives so leave it for a week or so after you are sure that you have missed your period. I have attached sources for your reference. hi im 2 days late now done test today it come back negative i dont no how i feel iv been trying for baby now for 3 months after i miscarriade at 5 weeks i really wonna baby i dont wonna see my period but you should wait to do a test i wish i did cause i dint wonna get my hopes ya ill be heartbroken if im not and im always 28 days never late but i keep thinking it could be due to the misscarriage i had . i wish u all the best if u are hun good luck

Possibly. The most sensitive test aside from a blood test takes 5 days to register a pregnancy. A blood test takes about 2 days for the hormones to build to a measureable level. So a negative does not put you in the clear unless the test is good and the proper amount of time for that test has already passed.
