True. A number of years ago I fell off a ladder trying to hang draperies (along with install hardware) and broke my shoulder and collarbone. I should not have tried to do it all myself.

Just curious why you would ask this. I've broken my nose twice, an elbow, and absolutely destroyed the inside part of my collar bone. That was in splinters. These don't even come close to the pain of a broken heart.

Depends on your definition of broken. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, they cut little hole into my jaw bone to get to the teeth, but aside from that, no.
