Sometimes, when faced with insomnia, I'll put on a boring TV program (like maybe a speech by Dan Quayle), and before I know it, I'm sound asleep. The TV has a timer, so it shuts itself off, after about an hour or so. +5

Sometimes i sleep with it on. Other times i just turn on my Conair sound effects thing. It plays rain forest noises, summer night noises, heart beats, and a river noises- that one is my favorite. It's so pretty! If i don't do that i have music playing. ^.^

Used to be, but I can fall asleep better now if Tom is next to me. I also used to play the radio, but my ex-roommates said I sang in my sleep so had to stop using the radio as a sleep aid.

When my boyfriend is in bed w/ me I keep the tv off - but when he's not home the tv is always on - i feel a little better w/ it on when he's not home. And usually its golden girls or roseanne on tv - since I love those shoes I dont really need to concentrate so volume is waay down.
