I do not believe people have special abilities like ESP and seeing into the future. People like John Edwards are frauds and should have to prove their skills in a tightly controlled environment. I do believe that some people are more clued into people's feelings and can "read" people better than others. And why aren't these people incredibly rich????

Yes, people should understand that this ability doesn't work on a general Q&A basis though. If you perceive of foresee something, you just do. It isn't a controllable interface whereas you can pluck answers from no where. You may just get a feeling about something, or see an image. You might have a dream or "vision" (daydream) about something and then it happens. Everyone is a little bit psychic. If it didn't exist, deja' vous would not occur.

I think we have powerful abilities of deductive reasoning we are sometimes able to tap into unconsiously. I think that can get mistaken for physic ability.

I beleive in psychic abilities! my friend is very psychic, there is now way she can fake it! when my dad died, she rang the minute my dad died in ireland, she also knew that he had 2 old watches, and described them to me before i found them, she aso informed that there was a hidden note behind some wall paper plus a stash of cash somewhere in his caravam...how the hell did she no that, thats why i would never mock these abilities!

I do indeed, as I have experienced more than enough odd and scientifically inexplicable events. When I was younger I used to irregularly see things happen well before they did (nothing remarkable, but all things I couldn't have prior knowledge of). MrsWitch regularly anticipates the phone ringing and knows who it will be (again, with no prior knowledge). She is also able to heal muscular/joint pain (without touching), sees auras, sees 'spirits' (for want of a better word) and is always informing me she 'feels something' (and it's not me). Many here have asked "Why aren't these people rich?". The answer in this case is that MrsWitch feels this is a gift and she has no right to make money out of it. She has a healthy ego and wouldn't dream of telling someone to rely on her rather than go to the doctor. Those who place themselves in the public eye or advise the inadvisable ('Let faith in the Lord heal your cancer' - what bollocks), are to be avoided more often than not. They are parasites of the worst order, preying on the hope of the weak and sick to expand their own ego's and bank balances. Disgusting.

yes. I have dreams once in a while with little snippets of my future in them, but I do not realize that they were snippets of the future until the moment comes. Then everything happens exactly the way I dreamed it. I cannot change the way it happens, it just happens. It is usually insignificant events. Does this ever happen to anyone else?

I believe it could be possible although I do not have such a gift nor do I know anyone who has it. I also know that there is a lot that can not be explained.

I believe that everyone is capable of psychic ability. I think that what most people think of as psychics are simply people who are able to use more of their brain than most. The average person uses only a small percentage of their brain. So who knows what we could do if we tapped into all of that potential.

I do believe in psychic ability very much as I have experienced it and have known people who had much more capabilities than me. everyone is psychic and it only takes clear thinking and meditation to bring it out of anyone.what you call as your gut feeling is about your intuition and that plays a big part in everyones psychic ability.So the belief truly depends on the individual and their belief system.

i believe in them a great deal. I have met people that had some special abilities, however i think there are a ton of people out there that have learned to fake it for a quick buck so you have to be careful on who you believe

I think we are three-dimensional people living in a multi-dimensional world..so all the "mysteries", "miracles", and unexplained phenomena are perfectly normal, except that our limited capacity to observe/engage with our environment prevents us from ever understanding what surrounds us! :) Those with psychic abilities are able to tap in to these other levels of existence from time to time! :)

It's possible, but there is some very serious and extensive work to be done before it's a valid concept for active belief. To date, that I can find, every single psychic (or similar) that has attempted to prove their abilities under scientific scrutiny has failed. Many who refuse to undergo scientific scrutiny have had their results duplicated by sceptics or nonetheless explained without any need for them to be 'psychic' (or similar). I would love for someone to show me evidence to prove it, since it is such an intriguing concept...

I sit on the fence with this one, but I'm leaning more to the non-believers. Particularly with people who claim to be psychic (whether they are or not is not relevant). I'll be able to tell you my full opinion in four years time when I'm done my degree.

I have psychic ability. Its like any ability, its specific instead of all encompassing. I used to see spirits. I used to see the feathers in my down blanket. They would glow in the darkness. Something happened I dont know what. It doesnt happen anymore. Instead I have other experiences.
