Veal, haven't had it in years. I saw some veal calf once, but had no clue what they were, each one was sort of chained to this little hut and they had the most pitiful cries. My s/o explained to me what they were and how they were raised, I never ate it again.

I can't say that I was fond of bear meat, or calamari for that matter. And eating suckers (mullet) after July is like eating mud. But I think the worst was winter porcupine. Because of the winter diet of pine needles, the meat tasted like turpentine. It's much better eating in the summer or fall.

I could think of lots that I wouldn't want to eat knowingly. But I couldn't think of one I had already eaten that I'll never eat again intentionally until I saw Kat's answer. Chitlin's /Chitterlings. I don't care if they have been "stump slung" they stink and they are chewy like gristle!

I plan never to eat beef. Ever since I read kids are working in dangerous meatpacking plants. I know I won't change their nefarious practices. However I feel good not supporting these firms.
